The committee also discussed an IMEA Energy Efficiency Grant; Public Works Director John Tolan said Professional Metal Works is applying but that IMEA indicated the money covers retrofits rather than new construction. Krauss said he is preparing a budgetary quote for the Murphy Development. Krauss further reported that the annual emissions report and compliance certification were completed and that the plant’s air permit is out for public notice. The committee noted plans to obtain pricing to replace the breaker that controls the main transformer at the south sub, with installation planned when loads are lower in the fall.
