Bus repairs and vehicle updates discussed; Bus #16 transmission, Van #5 hail repairs, Bus #1 tires replaced

District operations were discussed during Old Business. Marvin Gebhard gave a status report on vehicles that required work: Bus #16 needs a transmission and is in Prairie View awaiting parts; Van #5 is undergoing hail damage repairs in Kearney; and Bus #1 suffered a tire blowout after a recent football game and the board authorized replacing the remaining tires because of weather-related cracking. Gebhard also noted Bus #1 will receive a wrap installed by Apple One Media in Belleville.
Following the transportation update the board approved a slate of out-of-district student attendance requests as presented (motion by Laquita Smith, seconded by Christopher Rogers). The board recorded the vote as carried.
