Trustees approve personnel actions including leave requests, supplemental hires and contracts
Summary
The board approved leave requests for two employees, hired extracurricular supplementals and approved administrative, certified and classified contracts for 2024-25.
The board approved multiple personnel items at its Sept. 9 meeting. Trustees granted leave requests for Dean and Nita Lewis, carried by unanimous vote of those present.
The board also approved supplemental positions. Christopher Rogers moved to hire Kacie Yocum for the FFA supplemental and Nita Lewis for the high-school scholars bowl supplemental; the motion carried. The board then approved administration, certified and classified contracts for the coming year and accepted one resignation from a summer weight-lifting sponsor. Actions were taken after executive-session discussions on nonelected personnel. All personnel motions were recorded in the minutes with the supporting mover/second and a roll-call record.
