Board hears updates on multiple bus and van repairs; one bus sent to Hays for alignment

Marvin Gebhard, the district’s PreK–8/Grade School principal, updated the board on transportation maintenance during the Oct. 14 meeting. He said trim pieces for Bus #1 have arrived and the district hopes to have the vehicle wrapped soon. Van #7 was backed into and is getting a repair estimate from a body shop.
Mr. Gebhard added that one bus is waiting for an individual to inspect it and another was taken to Hays for an alignment. The board did not take formal action on repairs during the open session; the report served as an operational update from the transportation and maintenance staff.
