At its Jan. 17 meeting the Utah County Republican Party Central Committee reviewed and confirmed municipal and school board endorsement winners for multiple local races and approved party expenditures for upcoming events. Vice Chair Charles Wood’s report listed endorsement winners and outcomes in recent primaries and general elections; the minutes record adoption of those endorsements.
Treasurer Mark Cluff and mover Dallon Bundy presented and the committee approved two expenditure items from current funds: $25,000 for the Lincoln Day Dinner and $20,000 for caucus expenditures and training. The minutes record the motions as adopted. The meeting also approved appointments for District 55 leadership — Christina Crawford Ballard as District 55 Chair and John Johannesmeyer as District 55 Vice Chair — as moved by Marilyn Momeny.
