Chief Financial Officer Dr. Bill Johnston presented the resolution and said proceeds would be used in accordance with Texas Education Code Section 45.082(b)(1) for constructing or equipping school buildings or purchasing sites within the district.
Board member Brian Sebring moved to adopt the resolution and Johnny Knight seconded. The board approved the resolution unanimously, 7–0.
