The Red Oak ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Feb. 23 to adopt an order authorizing the issuance of unlimited tax bonds. Dr. Bill Johnston, Chief Financial Officer, presented the action, which included establishing sale parameters, authorizing execution of a bond purchase agreement and escrow agreement, and approving an official statement related to the bond sale.
Vice President Johnny Knight moved to approve the order, and Brian Sebring seconded. The motion passed 7–0. The minutes record the board’s approval without amendments; no dollar amount for the bond authorization was specified in the minutes.
