Salt Creek School District 48's board confirmed several personnel and administrative actions at the Sept. 19 meeting. Following Rebecca Allard's resignation, the board adopted a resolution appointing Julie Jilek as School Treasurer effective Aug. 31, 2024. The motion carried on a voice vote.
The board also appointed Hunter Macek as the district's IMRF Authorized Agent (rate of $1.00 per year) and authorized Robin Schwartz to represent the district in a Property Tax Appeal Board matter regarding the Butterfield Exchange Condominium Association. Superintendent Zaher introduced Andy Brown as the new operations manager earlier in the agenda; at the end of the meeting Andy Brown commented that he was "very excited to start." These personnel moves are recorded in the minutes and were approved by board motion where required.
