Cicero SD 99 posts $13.09 million in payrolls and nearly $3.94 million in February bills on consent agenda

At its regular Feb. 12, 2025 meeting, the Board of Education of Cicero School District 99 placed a large consent agenda before members that includes payrolls totaling $13,088,720.74 and total listed expenses for February of $3,936,945.13 across specified funds. The payroll line items include Education Fund $12,062,083.00, Operations/Building & Maintenance Fund $712,415.10 and Transportation Fund $314,222.64; miscellaneous receipts for the month were listed as $93,126.13.

Also on the consent agenda are procurement and contracting items: a recommendation to approve a five-year lease for 18 new buses with Central States Bus Sales, Inc.; a vehicle towing agreement with NOBS Towing; sale of a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe; AIA Document B101-2017 master services agreement and AIA Document G802-01 with Legat Architects, Inc. for architectural services (including services related to the new Early Childhood Center); an agreement with Midwest Mechanical Group, Inc. for an HVAC project at Wilson School; a settlement authority request for a workers’ compensation claim (Danny Wunschel, 21WC000124); and an agreement with Brecht’s Database Solutions, LLC d/b/a Embrace for special education software. The agenda also lists program approvals, grant allocations and partnership agreements under the consent section.
