Santa Rosa ISD lists active federal grants including two awards above $1 million
Summary
The district reported multiple federal grants during the workshop: ACE ($1,092,650), Stronger Connections ($1,000,000), Safe Cycle ($670,642) and several Title grants totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.
CFO Marisa Cuevas reviewed the district’s active federal grant portfolio and approved budgets. The list included Title I, Part A ($467,358), Title II, Part A ($49,808), Title V, Part B ($31,118), Title IV ($35,429), ACE ($1,092,650) and Stronger Connections ($1,000,000). Cuevas also noted Safe Cycle awards and several other grants with end dates varying through 2027 for some awards.
Presenting the grants and associated budgets allowed trustees to see restricted funds that support programs apart from the general fund and to consider how grant timelines and allowable uses interact with the operating budget.
