At its Sept. 25, 2025 meeting the PUC approved meeting minutes, completed business on Verdi dockets and staff items, and heard no public comment in Carson City or Las Vegas.
The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada convened Sept. 25, 2025 with Chair Hilly Williamson presiding and Commissioners Brown and Cordova present. At the outset the chair explained public-comment procedures under the Nevada Revised Statutes and invited speakers; no members of the public came forward at either location during the opening or closing public-comment periods.
The commission approved the meeting minutes for the prior meeting, considered two items relating to Verdi Meadows Utility Company (adopting Alternative 3A as its improvement plan and accepting a stipulation reducing a PER withdrawal to $10,000), approved staff items 3a, 3b, 3c and 4a on consent, and directed staff to issue the appropriate orders. Chair Williamson opened and closed both public-comment periods and thanked participants before adjourning the meeting.
