Adrienne Ryholt, external affairs director for Resound Networks, asked the Comal County Commissioners Court on June 19 to provide a non-exclusive letter of support so the company can pursue Texas broadband funding to expand service in underserved parts of the county.
Ryholt told commissioners Resound is "committed to bridging the digital divide in rural and underserved communities" and said the company already serves more than 3,000,000 homes and is a Federal Rural Digital Opportunity Fund awardee. She provided printed maps to county offices identifying gaps the company aims to fill and offered to connect the court with her engineering team for questions about proposed coverage areas.
