Director of Mental Health and Wellness RosaLeigh Johnson and Assistant Superintendent Mike Giromini presented two recommended vendor partnerships. The Board approved purchase of the Positivity Project district partnership at $97,065, a package that covers staff-wide access, implementation training, and digital resources for 2024–25. The Board separately approved purchase of the Panorama platform at $45,700; Panorama will provide recurring student, staff and family surveys, a Playbook of evidence-based interventions, and tools for MTSS intervention planning and tracking.
Board motions to approve the Positivity Project and Panorama were recorded as carried; NEF’s donation will offset district costs for the Positivity Project and support related grants. Johnson described the Positivity Project as “a character education and social emotional learning program dedicated to empowering America’s youth to build positive relationships and become their best selves.” The purchases require district implementation planning and staff training before full rollout.
The Board received the item as a formal approval; staff will return with implementation details and schedules for survey administration and training.
