Savoy ISD recognizes UIL perfect-score students and teachers/staff of the month

The Savoy ISD Board of Trustees used part of its Jan. 12 meeting to recognize student and staff achievements. Abigail Talley and Maggie Davis were acknowledged for perfect scores in UIL ArtSmart and Music Memory, respectively. Elementary teacher Jennifer Sweet and high-school teacher Jackie Ivers were named teachers of the month; Donna Leach was recognized as staff of the month.
Board President Jeff Francis and Superintendent Samuel Talley presented the recognitions and announced gifts placed at trustees' seats in honor of Board Appreciation Month. These items were presented during the meeting's opening ceremonial time and recorded in the public minutes.
