The Santa Rosa Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a bundled consent agenda at a special meeting on Aug. 7, 2025, adopting several personnel and student policy documents and approving an increase to the district meal allowance. "I, Alissa Perez, Board President, am calling the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m.," the board president said at the outset of the meeting.
Secretary Kelly R. Ballin moved to approve the consent items and Trustee Rene Flores seconded; the motion carried 4–0. The consent package included: (A) a 2025–26 memorandum of understanding for the 21st Century Cycle 12 Yr. 3 with San Perlita and Santa Maria ISDs; (B) the 2025–26 employee handbook; (C) campus handbooks for the 2025–26 school year; (D) the 2025–26 Student Code of Conduct; (E) an updated compensation plan and stipends for 2025–26; and (F) an increase to the meal allowance for students and staff.
