The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada unanimously accepted a stipulation resolving docket no. 251-0009 for Great Basin Water Company divisions in Pahrump and Spring Creek.
Commissioner Brown presented the item and described the stipulation as resolving all issues in the docket. He said, "Through the stipulation, the parties agree that the commission should authorize a flat refund in the amount of 77¢ to each Great Basin Water customer who had an active account in the Pahrump divisions … as of 07/13/2025." He further described a one-time flat refund for Spring Creek division customers and a one-time 20¢ charge for specified irrigation-transmission customers; the transcript lists the Spring Creek refund amount inconsistently as "$9 and 99 dollars" and also as "9 and 96¢" in separate lines, which creates uncertainty in the record.
Commissioner Brown moved to accept the stipulation and issue the appropriate order; the motion was seconded and carried by unanimous voice vote. The Commission recorded eligibility by account status as of July 13, 2025. No members of the public spoke on the item during the meeting.
