"1 PC has died. It's been dead for a little while. And their 2 laptops are at least 7 years old, and they have been told that they need replacing," the elections representative said. Commissioner Webb moved to approve the transfer and Commissioner Leacock seconded; the transcript records one commissioner saying "Opposed," but the County Judge announced the motion carried.
The court handled the request as a budget housekeeping item and approved the equipment purchases by voice/hand vote. The elections office will proceed with procurement once the transfer is processed.
