Comal County approves HR reclassification and salary adjustments

Human-resources staff presented a reorganization package that reclassifies several positions and adjusts salaries for multiple HR roles, including a senior human-resources generalist, HR coordinator, HR manager, benefits specialist and HR assistant. Staff said the changes realign duties, eliminate overlap and require no budget amendment.
Ms. Hettinger told the court the reorganization will consolidate responsibilities to improve efficiency and support succession planning. Commissioner Crownover moved to approve items 7a through 7e and the court carried the motion by voice vote.
