Staff noted the county’s asphalt costs are currently under budget and said continued favorable weather could allow the county to reach up to 60 miles of paving this year.
"We have 2 reports due in 2025. 1 is from SAWS, 1 is from Texas Water Company. We'd like to have a 3rd party engineer review this," a county staff member said while recommending the transfer. The court approved the line‑item transfer to cover paving and professional services.
