Commissioners approve Simmons Valley Phase 2 final plat and variances
Summary

County staff presented the final plat for Simmons Valley Phase 2 and recommended approval along with variances and acceptance of irrevocable standby letters of credit FTFC 25369 and FTFC 25359 as surety for road construction and stormwater drainage improvements. Staff noted the plat had been in the office since August of the prior year and that Unit 1 had previously been approved.
Commissioner Crownover moved to approve the plat and variances; Commissioner Leacock seconded and the court carried the motion. Staff recommended the narrower right-of-way (down to 50 feet) in some areas and a 20-foot building setback for small lots to maintain consistency with Unit 1.
