Community Development staff updated the Planning Commission on the Southeast Dixon specific plan on Sept. 10, saying the full specific‑plan area spans roughly 1,250 acres and that the Lewis Group’s 'Harvest' portion covers about 850 acres.
Raffi, speaking for Community Development, said the developer‑funded effort remains preliminary: the Lewis Group has been holding outreach meetings to gather input from residents and service groups and has hosted three community meetings on Aug. 14, Aug. 18 and Sept. 4. Staff said the developer anticipates filing a formal application in early October and noted an additional community meeting was scheduled for Sept. 12 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the senior multi‑use center to present concepts and collect feedback. "The specific plan area covers roughly 1,250 acres," Raffi told commissioners, and staff said the city has assembled a consultant team (planning consultant, project manager and traffic/SEIR specialists) paid for by the developer to assist with the project.
