Council approved a Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan submitted by property owner Glenn Rexroth to expand Lopez Auto Body at 207 Redco Avenue by 3,600 square feet. The proposal includes adding a paint booth, additional car bays and internal storage while removing 5,200 square feet of an unused accessory building. Zoning Officer Jay Nolt indicated that the removal improves the setback situation and that no variance was necessary; borough engineer Jeff Shue and York County Planning Commission review found only administrative items outstanding to be completed before recording.
The motion to approve the plan and two requested waivers carried unanimously. The approval allows the business to proceed with its expansion pending administrative finalization of plan-recording items.
