Veterans services adds accredited officer, seeks levy increase to sustain full-time coverage

"We just wanna make sure that we're appropriately funding veterans," Gorman said. He and the committee discussed outreach strategies (county events, Petunia Fest and local posts) to make veterans aware of services. No formal levy vote occurred during the presentation; the finance committee will consider the request during budget deliberations.
