Superintendent previews new strategic plan; board told salary/IMRF reports will be posted to ISBE

Superintendent Dr. Amy Zaher and district leaders briefed the board on the district’s Strategic Plan process, goals and schedule during the Oct. 17 meeting.
Dr. Zaher said the plan — prepared with Silver Lining Learning input and stakeholder focus groups — will be brought back for formal board approval at a later meeting. "It would be voted on at the next board meeting," she advised the board.
In a staff presentation, Dr. Emily Burnett presented the Employee Information System (EIS) and IMRF report. The board approved a motion to file required salary and IMRF postings with the Illinois State Board of Education and to publish base-salary information for administrators and teachers, including posting IMRF‑eligible staff earning more than $75,000, consistent with state guidance.
Board members emphasized transparency around compensation reporting and staff said the information will be posted to the district website and submitted to ISBE per state rules.
