Shallowater ISD trustees sworn in; board elects officers for 2026–27
Summary
At its May 18 meeting the Shallowater ISD Board of Trustees administered the oath to two newly seated trustees and elected Kyla Hamilton president, Brian Carreon vice president and Aaron Morris secretary for the 2026–27 school year.
The Shallowater Independent School District Board of Trustees administered the Oath of Office to trustees Brian Carreon and Bradley Price and then reorganized its officers for the 2026–27 school year.
De'Anne Holder administered the oath to Carreon and Price. In the reorganization, Brice Foster nominated Kyla Hamilton for president (seconded by Bradley Price), and Bradley Price nominated Brian Carreon for vice president (seconded by Swade Moyers). A first nomination for secretary (Alana Hayes) failed for lack of a second; a subsequent nomination placed Aaron Morris as secretary. The board approved the slate unanimously.
