The Fenton CHSD 100 Board of Education opened its regular meeting Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, with the district's Mission, Belief and 'Bison Way' statements presented by Dr. Samuel Bentsen. The meeting was held at the Academic Resource Center, 1000 W. Green Street in Bensenville and began at 7:00 p.m.
During the recognitions portion of the agenda the board marked Board Member's Day and congratulated Leonel Figueroa on being named a new IASB (Illinois Association of School Boards) Director‑at‑Large. The board also recognized the girls cross country team for qualifying for the IHSA State meet and highlighted individual qualifiers Matthew Andersen and Josslyn Wade. The agenda additionally noted observance of Superintendent's Day and listed follow‑up calendar items including the Dec. 17, 2025 regular meeting and tentative superintendent search meetings set for Dec. 2–3, 2025.
