Council appoints two members to senior advisory committee after public comment on training

City Clerk James Colleen presented two applications for open seats on the Senior Advisory Committee and invited the applicants to speak. During public comment, Adrienne Bryant asked that advisory groups receive the same Brown Act and Public Records Act training provided to other boards and commissions. Staff and the city attorney confirmed the Senior Advisory Committee, as a Brown Act body, receives the same trainings from the city clerk and city attorney team. The council moved, seconded and unanimously appointed the two candidates.
