At 7:50 p.m. President Laura Symon opened the statutorily required Williams public hearing on the sufficiency of instructional materials. Mr. Chris Heller explained the purpose of the hearing — to determine whether each pupil has or will have sufficient textbooks and instructional materials consistent with state curriculum frameworks before the end of the fiscal year. The Board closed the hearing at 7:51 p.m. after no public comment and adopted Resolution #25-8 validating sufficiency of materials.
Mr. Heller also presented the written 2024-25 student-discipline report, which included a multi-year table of enrollment and suspension counts (for 2024-25: enrollment 1,106; suspensions 37). Trustees had no questions on the discipline or hate-motivated behavior reports. The Board approved the resolution and accepted the reports as presented.
