Board approves 2024-25 unaudited actuals and hears CBO budget update

Chief Business Official Dr. Kay Vang presented the 2024-25 Unaudited Actuals Financial Report at the Sept. 11 meeting, noting that the district must file the report annually by Sept. 15. The report summarized revenues, expenses and ending fund balances for the district's funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Trustees voted unanimously to accept the Unaudited Actuals report.
During Communications, Dr. Vang also provided budget updates. Trustees discussed timing of Business Operations items and President Symon requested moving Business Operations earlier on the agenda to allow more audience members to hear financial updates. The Board approved school-connected organizations per Board Policy 1230 as part of business operations.
