Board approves Donald Trust land split and rezones two parcels, including 2.008‑acre commercial rezoning

The Holland Town Board accepted Plan Commission recommendations and approved two separate land use actions on July 13.
First, on a motion accepting the Plan Commission recommendation, the board approved Sawyer DeRuyter’s application on behalf of the Donald Trust to divide 5.000 acres from N753 Six Mile Road and rezone those 5.000 acres from A‑1 to A‑1‑S and to rezone an additional 15.000 acres of N753 from A‑1 to A‑PR as shown on the certified survey map. The motion carried by unanimous roll call vote with Morrison, Stapel, Hamilton and Chair Huenink voting yes.
Separately, the board approved Couple Two Tree Acres LLC’s request to rezone 2.008 acres of N1096 Sauk Trail Road from A‑5 to B‑1, again on a unanimous roll call vote. Both items were presented as Plan Commission recommendations and included the maps and exhibits submitted with the applications.
