Trustees approve consent agenda; honor student representative and community performers

On May 8 the St. Helena Unified Board approved a consent agenda that included approval of the April 17 meeting minutes, contracts under $25,000, surplus property, ratification of accounts payable, business operations reports related to Measures B & C, authorization resolutions, the Williams quarterly report, personnel register #24-9 and field trips. The consent agenda passed on a motion by Shawn Moura, second by Jeanmarie Wolf, with all trustees recorded as Aye.
Earlier in the meeting President Laura Symon recognized Student Board Representative Sonny Calder, noting it was her final board meeting; Nick Haley of the Boys & Girls Club recognized two Youths of the Year who received scholarships; and Anna Alicia Fullmer introduced the Robert Louis Stevenson 7/8 Band, which performed for the board and audience.
