The Borough of Lake Como council on March 18 introduced two ordinances on first reading and approved a consent agenda covering routine licenses and escrow refunds.
Ordinance 2025-2, amending Chapter 3-18 (Park Regulations), was offered by Councilwoman Heather Albala-Doyle and seconded by Councilman Douglas Witte. Ordinance 2025-3, amending Chapter 7-35.2, was offered by Councilman Christopher D'Antuono and seconded by Councilman Witte. Both measures passed introduction on a 3–0 roll call: Councilmembers Witte, D'Antuono and Albala-Doyle voted yes; Councilmembers Hawley Scull, Nicholas DeMauro and Peter Ventrice were recorded as absent.
The council approved the consent agenda — which included Raffle License 2025-2 for Shore Saves Inc. and Resolution 2025-57 (refund of grading plan escrow) — on a motion by Councilman Witte, seconded by Councilman D'Antuono. Councilman Witte introduced the motion to approve the consent agenda; the motion passed on roll call. Resolution 2025-60, related to an executive session, was pulled from the agenda and not acted on at the meeting.
