Council approves HVAC replacements at power plant and water shop

For the Water Department shop, staff reported repeated failures from the unit installed in 1993; the lowest quote was $5,900 from Shaver Plumbing for a GrandAire two‑ton unit. Councilmember Brian Carlton moved to approve the Shaver Plumbing quote; Councilmember Gary Rainbolt seconded and the motion passed. Funding will come from the Water Capital Reserve Fund.
