The Heritage Pines CDD Board approved Resolution 2025-05 on April 15, 2025 to accept updates to the Florida Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement. Ms. Lonergan presented the resolution and Mr. Adams summarized the updates and potential benefits.
During discussion Mr. Adams said the district "is more likely to be the recipient of aid from other governmental entities than a provider of aid." The resolution was adopted unanimously on a motion by Michael Walsh, seconded by Carol Vaughan. The update will be filed and the CDD will coordinate as appropriate with county and state entities when aid is necessary.
