CDD sets tentative FY2026 budget, schedules public hearing for July 15

The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors adopted a tentative FY2026 operation and maintenance budget on April 15 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club meeting room. District Manager Chuck Adams reviewed year-over-year changes and said the proposed budget is similar to the current year.
Mr. Adams told the board, "The net effect is a reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations compared to Fiscal Year 2025." He added the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit. The board approved Resolution 2025-03 on a motion by Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Carol Vaughan, with all supervisors voting in favor.
The fiscal packet presented included line-item increases, decreases and adjustments that Mr. Adams said justified the modest net reduction. The board will consider public comment and any final adjustments at the July 15 hearing before adopting a final FY2026 budget.
