Florence board approves homecoming parades for Florence High and Discovery Christian

On Chief Burns' recommendation, the board approved Florence High School's parade for Sept. 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., using the same route as the prior year. Separately, the board approved Discovery Christian School's parade for Oct. 3, 2025 at 9:15 a.m., also using the same prior route. Both motions were carried unanimously during the Sept. 16 meeting.
The items were presented under routine business and recorded without amendment; the minutes show no public objections or additional conditions attached to the approvals.
