Council approves routine claims, checks and two out-of-town water hookups

The South Cle Elum Town Council on Feb. 17 approved routine business items including claims and disbursements and authorized two out-of-town water hookups.
On a motion by Councilmember Allenbaugh, seconded by Councilmember Ditsworth, the council approved the meeting agenda. Councilmember McGuire moved to accept the minutes from Feb. 3, 2026; that motion was seconded by Councilmember Sandretto and passed. Councilmember Kasowski moved that the claims against the town be allowed; checks drawn on the town treasury were approved by majority vote. The treasurer reported checks 9292–9301 totaled $79,220.23; electronic transfers included $30.00 to BASYS and $462.61 to Merchant Services.
As part of unfinished business the council voted to allow two out-of-town water hookups on Westside Road after a motion from Allenbaugh, seconded by Sandretto. The council also authorized Mayor DeVere to sign HLA Task Order No. 25039C on a motion by McGuire, seconded by Allenbaugh. All motions passed by majority vote.
The meeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
