The South Cle Elum Town Council convened on Jan. 20, 2026, with Mayor DeVere presiding. Council members Allenbaugh, Kasowski, McGuire and Sandretto were present; Council Member Ditsworth was excused after a motion by Sandretto that Allenbaugh seconded and the council approved by majority vote.
Clerk Luanne administered the Oath of Office to Cory McGuire, who begins another four-year council term. The council approved the meeting agenda (motion by Allenbaugh, seconded by McGuire), accepted minutes from the Jan. 6, 2026 meeting (motion by Allenbaugh, seconded by McGuire), and authorized town claims (motion by Kasowski, seconded by Allenbaugh); each motion passed by majority vote. Treasurer reports listed checks 9258–9265 for $73,585.99, checks 9266–9272 for $2,229.75, and an EFT to BASYS for $30.00.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. No contested roll-call vote totals were recorded in the minutes; actions are recorded as having passed by majority vote.
