Developers seek rezoning of 20 E. Prospect from Industrial to Residential Town for ~8 townhomes

Engineer Blaine Markel said the parcel presently contains a house, garage and outbuildings and is served by public water and sewer; the proposed development concept was for roughly eight single-family attached townhomes with access off Church Lane.
Council authorized Solicitor Mike Craley to draft a map amendment and forward it to the York County Planning Commission for comment. Mr. Hiester noted the Planning Commission gave a positive response to the scope of rezoning; the motion passed with Mr. Holloway recorded as opposing.
