Council voted to make the intersection of S. Franklin Street and Boundary Avenue a four-way stop after discussing limited visibility caused by parked vehicles. Council member Evan Hiester made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Lau; the motion carried with Dennis Klinedinst recorded as opposing.
Engineer Jeff Shue told Council that the change typically requires an ordinance and a traffic study but that he could provide a letter in lieu of a formal traffic study to move the process forward. No ordinance was adopted that night; Council approved moving forward with design and documentation steps.
