Seguin ISD trustees hold Team of 8 training on superintendent evaluation and board goals

A quorum of trustees was present: Joshua Bright, Lisa Burns, Denise Crettenden, Linda Duncan, William Dwyer, Alejandro R. Guerra, and Grace Mueller; Dr. Jack Lee attended as superintendent. Nancy Ramirez attended as superintendent secretary.
Orin Moore, a consultant with the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB), facilitated the session described in the minutes as “Board Development.” The training reviewed the superintendent evaluation process and the procedures for setting board goals; the minutes record that these two topics were the focus of the Team of 8 Training. The meeting record also notes that no members of the public signed up to address the board during the audience-with-board period.
Trustee William Dwyer led the pledges and a moment of silence earlier in the meeting. At the close of the session, Dwyer moved to adjourn and Trustee Alejandro R. Guerra seconded. The motion carried: ayes — Bright, Burns, Crettenden, Duncan, Dwyer, Guerra and Mueller; nays — none. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
