During the work session, council members reported the mural at Nitchkey Field is complete and that Jen Dettinger will begin work on a planting plan in 2025. Staff said the York County Land Bank Authority suggested borough staff contact Kim Hogeman at the York County Economic Alliance about additional borough properties that might qualify as blighted.
Council also discussed youth engagement; Evan Hiester reported contact with the Rotary Club confirming collaboration with the school district on service projects to involve high school students. Members briefly discussed the prospect of staging another farmers' market at Nitchkey Field next year.
