During the municipal services report, Dennis Klinedinst told council that York County Solid Waste Authority will increase the tipping fee by $4 per ton effective Jan. 1, 2025. He said Penn Waste will pass through an increase in its per-home quarterly charge of $5.79, which will raise the borough's quarterly trash bills to $92.97.
The minutes record these figures so council can incorporate the higher operating and disposal costs into the 2025 budget planning process; no formal action on solid-waste contracts was taken at the work session.
