Superintendent Michael Wells provided the staff report at the Nov. 19 meeting, updating the board on the Grand Park Project and recent student activities. He reported that the Seed Survivor MOBILE field trip for students in grades 2–6 was successful: each student planted a seed and took it home as part of a lesson on seeds and farming. He also noted that Big Smile Dental visited and 16 students were seen for dental care.
Wells told trustees that the district was preparing a Thanksgiving Feast for the next day and said the district was expecting about 400 meals for students, staff and families. Those operational items were presented as part of the superintendent’s report; no formal board action on those items is recorded in the minutes.
