Disc golf course at Rotary Park emerges as top site for Arbor Day planting

Members discussed species selection for the course, rodent issues at the site and the possibility of adding salt-tolerant species. The committee also suggested consulting players about course design and tree placement to ensure trees enhance rather than interfere with play. Staff agreed to provide maps of existing irrigation and previous plantings to guide species and placement decisions.
