County staff said the work targets areas of greatest risk and follows a methodical prioritization. A commissioner moved approval and thanked staff for the work; the motion passed on roll call. Commissioners and staff said the work should help reduce local wildfire risk and might support homeowners’ insurance status in high‑risk areas.
Staff recommended approval and noted the county’s forestry coordinator (JR Logan referenced) has been methodical in selecting priority zones. The agreement was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
