Pack 90 granted Heater Pond fishing event; fee waived in exchange for cleanup

Council approved a Facility Use Application from Arianna Vazquez, Pack 90 Committee Chair, to hold a fishing event at Heater Pond on Sept. 28 and waived the fee because the troop will conduct a post-event cleanup; Councilwoman Cowdrick noted the troop regularly performs community-service cleanups around the pond.
Sergeant Sanfilippo reminded the group that participants must comply with New Jersey Fish & Wildlife regulations. Councilman Gandarinho and others confirmed the event will be supervised by troop leaders and that the Borough typically provides garbage bags and gloves for volunteer cleanups.
