The board approved the FY26 district consolidated plan and received an overview of the district‑wide parent and family engagement policy that must be incorporated into that plan. Mrs. Andrews told trustees the consolidated plan is required for state grant applications and cannot be submitted until it is board‑approved.
Andrews said, “It basically says that families will be part of the decision making process in their child's schooling and that students who are receiving extra help, that parents will be made aware of that information.” Trustees confirmed the plan would be posted for review and that a board‑designated official will sign the document after approval.
