Board hears update: FFA barn property easement resolved; construction to begin

"It's going through escrow as we speak, so that will be cleaned up," Mr. Duff said. He told the board construction for the FFA barn is expected to start within the next 30 days. The board did not record further financial details in the transcript about purchase price beyond noting the county-assessor valuation was accepted. The district said the easement issue likely should have been resolved at the time of district unification but was addressed in recent meetings and negotiations.
