County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong presented an Amended RCRCA Joint Powers Agreement that the minutes say is necessary for RCRCA to hold the Watershed Based Implementation Funds grant agreement and to oversee One Watershed One Plan implementation.
“Motion by Anderson, second by Appel, unanimous vote to approve Cottonwood County’s RCRCA member to sign the RCRCA Amended Joint Powers Agreement for One Watershed One Plan Implementation as presented,” the minutes state. The board approved the authorization without recorded dissent.
The action authorizes the county’s designated RCRCA representative to execute the amended agreement so the regional authority can accept and oversee grant funds tied to watershed implementation and plan coordination.
